 Ice Man's Heat Lightning
Registered 100% Spotted Boer Buck (ABGA)

Iceman's Heat Lightning March 2013

Date of Birth: 06/20/2009-3/19/2017
Dam: Bon Joli Lady Rowena
Sire: CRCR Ice Man
We added this gorgeous 4th generation spotted buck to our herd in 2009 and have been impressed with the colorful kids he has produced for us even when bred to traditional colored does. His breeding includes Rolling Creek's Sir Spotsalot, Bon Joli Lady Anne, Powell Holman Lucky Red Lady and more. He has produced spotted, dappled, paints, spotted paints and spotted traditional red heads and black headed. His kids are also very hearty when born and seem to require infrequent worming.  He has a very sweet and easy going personality. We LOVE this guy!!! A big THANK-YOU to Tim and Misty at 1AA Farms in Illinois for allowing us to purchase such a gorgeous boy! UPDATE: We lost Heat Lightning this spring (2017) due to an ongoing injury he suffered a while ago. He was the most amazing buck and was very easy to work with. Even after the multiple injections, antibiotics, painful scrubbing and other treatments he remained trusting of us and never gave us a fight. He will be missed around here for sure! I'm so glad we retained so many of his kids. We are retaining a beautiful black and white dappled buckling out of Heat Lightning and Jazz so that we can carry on the genetics of our Heat Lightning.  RIP big guy!
